Google needed Gemini in Chrome to feel like something real people actually use, not a feature demo. The brief was to make it native to social: vertical, lived-in, and built around real moments rather than a script reciting capabilities. The spots needed to talk to the audience authentically, with real-life problems being solved seamlessly.

THE WORK

We built character-driven vignettes shot natively to each platform, with Gemini's prompts and results woven directly into the story instead of narrated over it. A dad sneaks a quiet moment to find a safe, kid-friendly nail polish remover before his daughter catches him. A solo traveler plans a real trip in real time. Lived-in art direction, true-to-life wardrobe, and unscripted ad-libs kept every scene feeling found.

THE RESULT

The creator-driven, UI-over-VO technique landed exactly as intended, breezy and unobtrusive, and became a signature.
